Why invest in a leased line.
A large number of businesses successfully work with a traditional broadband line so why have a leased line?
No1 reason – You have applications on your server that you need to access while travelling.
Broadband is Asynchronous, which means that the download is faster than the upload speed.
If you try to access application that are installed on your server from other offices or while travelling then upload and download is reversed! You are trying to pull data UP from your premises and the system will run slow.
No2 reason – Your internet connection is slow or unreliable OR your business will suffer if you have an outage.
Leased lines are monitored automatically and will get repaired within a fixed short timescale if things go wrong. Did you know that broadband and low price fibre connections don’t have a guaranteed fix time. If they get broken by a digger in the street you could face days or even weeks of down time. With a leased line faults are remedied quickly, in hours not days.
No 3 reason – Life is better with a leased line
Although the cost can seem prohibitive at first, we haven’t yet found a customer who regretted installing a leased line. The cost of interruptions and downtime from more traditional broadband just goes away once you get a leased line and a properly managed router in place!
Our leased lines are installed by Britain’s leading bandwidth and cable providers. We work with several suppliers so that we can always find a solution, even in difficult to reach places. Even if you are across fields, we can link using 5G microwave solutions. See our Wireless networks pages for details.

We spent the last few days desperately installing generators for our clients in Scotland - trying to get ready for the XMAS period amongst strikes and power cuts.
If only you provided generators, then power would be as reliable as the network you set up for us. That never goes wrong - if a line fails the system automatically connects to the spare line and our customers keep running! Well done.
You made a real difference to our business, because you stopped us getting a massive surge of calls each time there was a line fault.
