One our guys showed me something quite unique today.
He can set up new PC’s out of the box and at our office as if he is at the customers.
It means he can:
- set up multiple devices at once because he has extra desk space
- be more productive – he can do other things while he waits for updates etc
- reduce the cost of big system setups.
Now that’s what I wanted to hear!
The tech behind it is a feature in our favourite Mikrotik routers that lets us build a wire from the customers network to a dedicated port in our office. Automatic scripts, security etc are all transferred to that socket and the PC can be set up as if it is on the customers desk. #mikrotik
