Andisa just ran a 1 day introduction to MikroTik routers for a Newcastle based IT and telephone provider – Diamond Group.
Although Andisa cant provide certified MikroTik Training, this course covered all of the basics in a practical format! This customer will most likely go on to the Mikrotik certification process but first they needed practical advice “consultant to consultant”.
We delivered two half day sessions.
Session 1 was for less experienced engineers and covered how to set up from the box, best practices for the firewall, NAT etc and then some specific tips for adding Ubiquiti WiFi and VoIP.
Session 2 was designed to make more experienced engineers think hard. It was practical lead with a series of labs starting with static routing, mangle rules, policy based routing, ECMP and load balancing.
